Key Information for Clubs
There are many obligations on clubs and club administrators. This page aims to provide resources that enables the smooth and efficient running of your club, from statutory requirements such as meeting Consumer Affairs incorporated entities obligations and legislated Child Safeguarding requirements through to GCA obligations such as professional player contracts, player points submissions and requests to affiliate.

Common tasks required to be completed by clubs include the following:
Request to Affiliate with the GCA
Clubs that intend to field men’s competition teams in the upcoming season are required to notify the GCA Secretary in writing no later than 15th May each year.
The affiliation letters should address the minimum standard requirements for clubs as set out in the regulations. Sections 2.1 and 2.2. A copy of interim Financial Statements should also be attached. An example letter is available here
Submit Professional Player Contracts and Club Declarations
Before the commencement of each Season, the Mens and Womens Competition Management Committees require that clubs submit standard Professional Player Contracts and Club Affiliation Agreements. Due Date for both signed documents is 30/09
Submit Player Points spreadsheet
Each club fielding sides in GCA1, GCA2, GCA3 and GCA4 Divisions must submit Player Points spreadsheets prior to the commencement of each new season.
Club Assessments
Club Assessment worksheets that help the GCA Board assess clubs’ performance will be issued to clubs for review before the end of April following the completed season.

Player transfers and permits need to be submitted by club secretaries (or club PlayHQ administrators) via the PlayHQ Admin Portal

How do I recommend someone for GCA life membership?

How do I get approval for playing apparel displaying sponsors and club logos?
Approval for playing apparel needs to be requested via an email to the GCA Secretary which should include artwork images of the proposed playing apparel.
