GCA’s Strategic Future – Planning for Growth

Oct 7, 2025 | President's Updates

It’s important that the GCA Board and its competition committees remain focused on the effective operational management of GCA cricket.

However, at the recent 2025 Associations Forum, Cricket Victoria CEO, Nick Cummins also emphasised the need for Associations to develop and implement a strategic approach to the growth and development of community cricket.

The GCA Board will be undertaking a process to review and determine strategic priorities for the next 2-3 year period and will be engaging further with clubs and stakeholders to seek views and input.

We look forward to working with our cricket community as we plan for the future of the GCA.
