What to Expect
Junior cricket is the next step for kids who are ready to advance their cricket skills through organised games at your local club. The junior cricket pathway nurtures their passion, builds their confidence, allowing them to create lifelong memories.
Programs are offered at the following age groups:
Under 11
Non-competitive matches, focussed on skills development, abridged timeframes, age-appropriate pitch lengths and boundaries
Under 13
Competitive matches, combination of short and long form matches, depending on grade.
Under 17
Competitive matches, combination of short and long form matches

The GCA offers competitions at a range of age levels including Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 for boys and Under 12, Under 15 and Under 18 for girls.
